Job Title: Desktop/PC Support Intern
Pay Rate: $23 to $25/Hr (20hrs/Week - Summer Internship)
Duration: 3 Months (June 1st until mid-August, approximately or until project completion)

Shift: 9 AM to 2 PM Central time
This position is for the Building Automation division.
We are looking for Desktop/PC Support Intern
Our Company is seeking motivated students to assist in deploying approximately 100 new computers across our factory and warehouse floor over the summer.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on IT experience in a professional environment.
Responsibilities:
Report to the manager on progress and issues each day.
Replace existing personal computers with new ones and remove old ones for recycling
Set up and connected new computers, including monitors, keyboards, and other peripherals
Install and configured MicrosoftWindows and other software as needed
Ensure proper connections to the network (training provided)
Follow step-by-step instructions for installation and setup
Troubleshoot basic setup issues with guidance from IT support
Provide basic assistance to employees transitioning to new computers
Maintain an organized and clean workspace
Other duties as needed
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and computer hardware setup
Ability to hook up a new computer and peripherals correctly
Some understanding of networks is helpful (training provided)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Good work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to communicate effectively and ask for help when needed
Must be reliable and punctual.
The job requires lifting up to 20 pounds, bending, kneeling, and working extensively with your hands in a factory environment that is sometimes dusty.
Also I worked at a desk and set up new PCs with software.
