This position is for the Medium-voltage drives division.
We are looking for a Project coordinator with a proven track record of supporting product orders preferably in a manufactory setting under the direction of a project manager.
The role of the Project Coordinator is to assist the Project Managers plan, implementing, and finalizing projects according to scope, timeline, and budget. This is an entry-level position focusing on administrative tasks related to project execution. The Project Coordinator will work with Project Managers to ensure the implementation of our core business processes acting as a HUB to ensure documentation of project execution throughout the life cycle.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the documentation of project scope in order to improve success and minimize risk within the project.
- Assist in the development of complete project plans and associated communications documents.
- Apply Innomotics project process and management principles at all aspects of project scope and results.
- Collaborate with project partners on an ongoing basis in order to ensure project delivery.
- Work with the Project Manager to estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations as required by the Project Manager.
- Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where vital under the direction of the Senior Project Manager.
- Advise the Project Manager of any scope creep and assist in the development of appropriate change order pricing for the project.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques and advise the Project Manager of any identified issues within the project.
- Document meeting minutes and organize project documentation in accordance with factory standards.
- Ensure accurate project records are maintained in the appropriate location for ease of access to project team members.
Education, Experience, and Preferred Knowledge/Skills.
- Knowledge and background in Project Management including previous project management experience, degree in project management, or other related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree (engineering/technology or business preferred but not required)
- Technical understanding of electric motors or drives is helpful, but not required.
- Excellent record-keeping and communication skills.
- Solid interpersonal skills including attention to detail, multi-tasking skills, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
- SAP experience is desired.
